Monday, 20th: The Flash

I also spotted what I thought was a Scaup earlier today (4.45) on Priorslee Flash and it has taken me 3 hours since the sighting to go through my ID books to check. There were clear white markings at the base of the bill and not much sign of a tuft which is why I thought it was a Scaup. It was probably just a Juv. Tufted but someone else will probably need to confirm this with a photo (they are similar at this stage)...

Monday, 13th: The Flash

- 104 Greylag Geese was a new record-high for me here
- 2 Teal: ducks / immatures flew in
- small but significant movement of >30 Swallows through

Satuirday, 11th: Nedge Hill

- 8 Yellow Wagtail (4 airfield,3 upper horse fields,1 lower horse fields) - highest total at site since 2003
